Bronchoscophy & Tubes

Carter had his 2nd bronchoscopy on Wednesday and got tubes that same day. We received some good news that the bump they found in Carter's trachea a month ago is not a mast!!! The doctors are not worried about it and were able to confirm that he does have tracheal malacia (softening of the airways) and he will grow out of it in a couple years. We decided for him to get tubes at this time because he had a lingering ear infection for the past 2 months. The ENT doctor said that his right ear was still infected when he did the tubes so we are having to do ear drops for the next few days. Carter does not like this at all. He is getting so strong now and it takes both of us to hold him down to do this. He had a hard time coming out of the anesthesia but once he got some juice an a little nap in he was much better. Here are some pictures of him from that day.
